Hind Abdul Saeed, organized a large-scale volunteer campaign to plant trees in the courtyards and corridors of the College on the morning of Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
This campaign was part of the fifth axis of the Third National Plan for Women, Security and Peace (2025–2026), which aims to empower women to face the risks of climate change and protect the environment.
During this event, more than 100 seedlings and trees were planted throughout the College, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Hashim, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Sanaa Abid Lazim, and a group of faculty members, staff, and students, in an atmosphere of optimism, teamwork, and environmental responsibility.
The Dean emphasized that this initiative comes within the framework of supporting national efforts to expand green spaces and establish a culture of volunteerism. She also thanked the Services Division and its staff for their outstanding role in making the event a success.
This initiative goes in line with the college’s vision to promote environmental awareness on campus and encourage students and staff to adopt sustainable practices that preserve the environment and support green development.
